8:00 am Arrival, welcome children, health check, children put away supplies and choose a work 8:15 am Morning meeting 8:30 am Morning work cycle or center work. During this time a snack is available. 10:30 am Gross motor activity such as recess, art, physical activity 11:00 am Transition: hand washing, bathroom breaks, tidying the classroom, reading a book 11:30 am Lunch 12:00 pm Set up for nap: children wash hands, teacher arranges cots, teacher encourages bathroom break 12:15 pm Nap time (if children do not sleep, a space is available for them to play quitely) 1:45 pm Wake up, bathroom break, clean up cots, children pack their bags and gather their things to go home 2:00 pm Afternoon meeting/play outside (or some sort of gross motor play) 2:30 pm Storytime/dismissal pack-up 2:45 pm Dismissal
