Immunizations Required for 2013-14 7th Graders

The State of Ohio requires that all 7th grade students must receive a Tdap booster. What is a Tdap? Tdap is a booster immunization that offers continued protection from tetanus, diphtheria and whooping cough. Check your child’s immunization record. If your child has not received the Tdap booster please make arrangements with your child’s physician or contact the Licking County Health Department for an appointment at 349-6535. The deadline for all immunizations is the start of the 2013-14 school year. When your child has received the Tdap vaccine please bring in a copy of the updated immunization record to the school.
