In an effort to build a strong relationship among parents, teachers and children and, to keep tuition at an affordable level, we require all families of students attending Blessed Sacrament School to volunteer. This can be through both opportunities available at the school and parish.
We ask all Blessed Sacrament School families to complete 25 community hours each year. We're always willing to work you to help you reach your goals - using the school's preferred program "Track it Forward" helps everyone stay organized. You can explore volunteer opportunities, log your hours and track your progress.
Some ways to earn hours are our Parish Festival, cafeteria volunteer, classroom aide, office aide, playground volunteer, volunteering at designated fundraisers, and attending Home and School meetings. Community hours can be earned by participating in faith formation opportunities at the parish including bible studies or attending the Catholic Men’s or Women’s Conferences. Please contact the office if you have a special skill that might be of help to us.
All volunteers must be fingerprinted to obtain an official BCI background check and attend “Protecting God’s Children” offered throughout the Diocese. No children under the age of 16 may work for community hours.
